About Us
Beat 87 Dance Academy was founded by me, Sarah, in 2007. Since then, with the help of my mum Vicki, it has grown into an amazing community which welcomes all students with open arms.

I began Beat 87 Dance Academy in 2007 at the age of 19. Dance (in particular Ballet) has always been my passion and I LOVE what I do.
I have trained in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Character, Contemporary, Demi Character & Ballroom styles.
I have also successfully completed Commonwealth Society Teachers of Dance exams (CSTD) and Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) exams to an advanced level. Furthermore I have completed Ballroom Dancing Exams in Street Latin, Latin, New Vogue and Modern styles.
Outside of Beat 87 Dance Academy, I am a Dance Podiatrist and a mum of 2 beautiful boys.

Vicki (my mum) has helped me grow and develop my school over the years. She is the engine machine behind all of our ideas.
Vicki has also completed CSTD dance exams to an advanced level and has over 40 years in teaching experience.
Vicki spends months making all of our end of year Showcase costumes which are always bright, colorful and full of sequins!
Vicki also dances in the Adult Jazz and Tap class too!...
